John Aytch:
My journey in aviation began in my sophomore year of college. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I realized it was the perfect time to finally chase a passion I have had for years. I booked a discovery flight at Fly Legacy Aviation, and I was hooked the moment we took off.
From that point on, I balanced finishing my degree while continuing flight training during summer breaks. It was not always easy, but every moment in the air made it worth it. That journey eventually led me to earning a B.S. in Meteorology with a minor in Emergency Management, a path that complements my love for aviation in so many ways.
Now that I will be able to continue flying as part of the Fly Legacy community, I am excited to bring that same passion and energy to the next generation of pilots. Aviation has opened so many doors for me, and I’m eager to help others discover where it can take them too.
